There are many cards in MTG all you need to know is the

• types of cards
  • the differnent card types are, creature, planeswalker, legendary(this applys to all types), sorcery, instant, echantment, and lands.
• their mana cost
  • their mana cost is the mana you need to cast the card it can be in a form of color (red, blue, green, white, and black) or colorless mana you get from lands or other types of cards.
• their power and toughness
  • their power is where you can damage the opponet or destroy creatures depending on their toughness, and toughness is how much a creature can take when they get attacked when the opponet uses them to block attacking creatures.
